RTC Memorial 2021

On April 28th 2021, we had a walk to remember about the genocide against Tutsi which happened in April 1994 in Rwanda. Over one million of Tutsi were killed. Due to the actual restrictions only some few students went to the Genocide memorial of Rubengera with their leaders. They were explained briefly about how the Genocide happened and came back to the campus where a meeting with one of the elders - MATHIAS ABIMANA. He explained about Rwandan history before , during and after the genocide. The students had opportunities to ask questions and they were well answered and satisfied.
With this activity we keep the commemoration of our history and teach our students, not to let such thing happen again.
